Except as otherwise stated in this chapter all notices required by this chapter shall be in writing and shall be effective (i) upon hand delivery, (ii) upon mailing if properly addressed with postage prepaid and deposited in the United States mail, or (iii) when given in compliance with section515B.3-110(c), with respect to matters covered by that section.
