Text

All cities of the fourth class and the city councils of the same, in addition to all powers now possessed by such cities, shall have the power to dredge lakes wholly or partly within the corporate limits of such cities, to park the shores thereof, maintain a water level in such lakes, and expend money therefor. Such cities are given the right to accept donations from any person, firm, or corporation to aid in defraying such expenses and such cities and the city councils thereof shall have the power to make contracts with any person, firm, or corporation for the taking of water and ice from such lake upon such terms and conditions as may be agreed upon between such city council and the person, firm, or corporation acquiring the right to the use of the water and ice.
