Text
A home rule charter or statutory city or town may make grants for the use of a private, nonprofit, or public hospital that serves the city or town, or to an emergency medical services agency as defined in section144.7401, that serves the city or town. The grants must be authorized by the council in the case of a city and the town board in the case of a town upon the affirmative vote of the town electors at the annual or a special town meeting.
