Text

The commissioner shall:

(1)issue, deny, renew, suspend, or revoke licenses;
(2)make and maintain records of its acts and proceedings including the issuance, denial, renewal, suspension, or revocation of licenses;
(3)keep public records of the council open to inspection at all reasonable times;
(4)develop rules to be implemented under this chapter;
(5)conform to the rules adopted under this chapter;
(6)develop policies and procedures for regulating boxing, kickboxing, and mixed martial arts;
(7)approve regulatory bodies to oversee martial arts and amateur boxing contests under section341.28, subdivision 5;
(8)immediately suspend an individual license for a medical condition, including but not limited to a medical condition resulting from an injury sustained during a match, bout, or
