Subdivision 1.Enforcement. The commissioner is charged with the enforcement of this chapter. Subd. 2.Power and authority. For the purpose of enforcing this chapter, the commissioner and the commissioner's assistants, agents, and employees have the power and authority granted under chapter 34A and sections31.02to31.171. Subd. 3.Inspection of dairies. At times the commissioner determines proper, the commissioner shall inspect all places where dairy products are made, stored, or served as food for purchase, and all places where hoofed mammals are kept by persons engaged in the sale of milk, and shall require the correction of all unsanitary conditions and practices.
