Text
A person claiming to be damaged by a breach of the conditions of a sales contract may submit a complaint to the commissioner within 40 days after the due date. The complaint must be a written statement of the facts constituting the complaint. After receiving a filed complaint, the commissioner must investigate the charges made and may have the matter heard as a contested case pursuant to chapter 14 if an affected party requests a hearing.
