Text
The commissioner shall develop a quality improvement incentive program in consultation with stakeholders. The annual funding pool available for quality improvement incentive payments must be equal to 0.8 percent of all operating payments, not including any rate components resulting from equitable cost-sharing for publicly owned nursing facility program participation under section256R.48, critical access nursing facility program participation under section256R.47, or performance-based incentive payment program participation under section256R.38. An annual rate adjustment provided under this section must be effective for one rate year.
