Text
Subdivision 1.Case mix classifications. The case mix classifications shall be those established under section144.0724. Subd. 2.Case mix indices.
(a)The commissioner shall assign a case mix index to each case mix classification as determined by the commissioner of health under section144.0724.
(b)An index maximization approach shall be used to classify residents. "Index maximization" has the meaning given in section144.0724, subdivision 2, paragraph (c).
Subd. 3.Resident assessment schedule.
(a)Nursing facilities must conduct and submit case mix classification assessments according to the schedule established by the commissioner of health under section144.0724, subdivisions 4and 5.
