Subdivision 1.Local agency. Upon receipt of a written nomination, the commissioner shall promptly order the local agency of the county in which the proposed person subject to public guardianship resides to coordinate or arrange for a comprehensive evaluation of the proposed person subject to public guardianship. Subd. 2.Medication; treatment. A proposed person subject to public guardianship who, at the time the comprehensive evaluation is to be performed, has been under medical care shall not be so under the influence or so suffer the effects of drugs, medication, or other treatment as to be hampered in the testing or evaluation process.
