Text
It shall be the duty of the sheriff of any county, upon the request of the Direct Care and Treatment executive board, to take charge of, transport, and deliver any person who has been committed by the district court of any county to the care and custody of the Direct Care and Treatment executive board to a state-operated services facility as may be designated by the Direct Care and Treatment executive board.
