Subdivision 1.Consultation services. The executive board may provide on a fee-for-service basis consultive services to courts and state welfare agencies. Subd. 2.Aftercare. The executive board may provide to court and state welfare agencies on a fee-for-service basis supervision and aftercare of patients provisionally or otherwise discharged from a state-operated services facility. Subd. 3.Education programs. The executive board may promote and conduct educational programs relating to mental health to court and state welfare agencies. Subd. 4.Federal and other funds. The executive board shall administer, expend, and distribute federal funds and other funds not appropriated by the legislature that are made available to the state for the mental health purposes in this section.
