A license holder must develop a written policy and procedures manual that is alphabetically indexed and has a table of contents, so that staff have immediate access to all policies and procedures, and that consumers of the services and other authorized parties have access to all policies and procedures. The manual must contain the following materials:

(1)a description of patient education services as required in section245F.06;

(2)personnel policies that comply with section245F.16;

(3)admission information and referral and discharge policies that comply with section245F.05;

(4)a health monitoring plan that complies with section245F.12;

(5)a protective procedures policy that complies with section245F.09, if the program elects to use protective procedures;

(7) policies and procedures for assessing and documenting the susceptibility for risk of abuse to the patient as the basis for the individual abuse prevention plan required by section245A.65;
(8) procedures for mandatory reporting as required by sections245A.65and626.557and chapter 260E;
(9) a medication control plan that complies with section245F.13; and
(10) policies and procedures regarding HIV that meet the minimum standards under section245A.19.
