Subdivision 1.Light capacity scales; retail establishments. The director shall inspect light capacity scales in retail establishments such as grocery stores, other retail food establishments, or hardware stores, not more often than once every 36 months except when (1) the owner requests an inspection, (2) when the scale is inspected as part of an investigation, or (3) when the scale has been repaired. Subd. 2.Packaged food commodities. The director shall inspect packaged food commodities in grocery stores and other retail food establishments not more often than once every 36 months except when (1) the owner requests an inspection or (2) when packages are inspected as part of an investigation.
