Subdivision 1.Administration. The commissioner shall administer, implement, and enforce sections18C.531to18C.575. The Department of Agriculture is the lead state agency for the regulation of agricultural liming materials which includes the storage, handling, distribution, and use of agricultural liming materials. Subd. 2.Delegation of duties. The commissioner may delegate authorities and duties under sections18C.531to18C.575to designated employees or agents of the Department of Agriculture. Subd. 3.Delegation to approved agencies. The commissioner may, by written agreement, delegate specific inspection, enforcement, and other regulatory duties of sections18C.531to18C.575to officials of approved agencies as defined in section18B.01, subdivision 2.
