Subdivision 1.Protected titles. No person may use the title "licensed traditional midwife," or "licensed midwife," or use, in connection with the person's name, the letters "LTM," "LM," or any other titles, words, letters, abbreviations, or insignia indicating or implying that the person is licensed or eligible for licensure by the state as a licensed traditional midwife unless the person has been licensed as a licensed traditional midwife according to this chapter. Subd. 2.Prohibited from practicing. A person whose license under this chapter has been revoked by the board is prohibited from practicing traditional midwifery. Subd. 3.Penalty. A person who violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor.
