(a)Sections145D.30to145D.36are in addition to and do not affect or limit any power, remedy, or responsibility of a health maintenance organization, a service plan corporation, the attorney general, the commissioner of health, or the commissioner of commerce under this chapter; chapter 8, 62C, 62D, 309, 317A, or 501B; or other law.
(b)Nothing in sections145D.03to145D.36authorizes a nonprofit health coverage entity to enter into a conversion transaction not otherwise permitted under chapter 317A or 501B or other law.
