Subdivision 1.MFIP eligibility requirements. To be eligible for MFIP, applicants must meet the general eligibility requirements in sections142G.11to142G.15, the property limitations in section256P.02, and the income limitations in sections142G.16and256P.06. Subd. 2.Verification of information. An agency must apply section256P.04when documenting, verifying, and recertifying MFIP eligibility. An agency must only require verification of information necessary to determine MFIP eligibility and the amount of the assistance payment.
