Subdivision 1.Scope. The terms used in this chapter have the meanings given them in this section. Subd. 2.Annual or annually. With the exception of subdivision 3, "annual" or "annually" means prior to or within the same month of the subsequent calendar year. Subd. 3.Annual or annually; family child care and family child foster care. For the purposes of family child care under sections142B.70to142B.72and142B.74and family child foster care training, "annual" or "annually" means each calendar year. Subd. 4.Applicant. "Applicant" means an individual, organization, or government entity, as defined in section13.02, subdivision 7a, that is subject to licensure under this chapter and that has applied for but not yet been granted a license under this chapter.
