Text
Where the natural hydrologic boundaries of a proposed district extend into more than one county, the county boards of the counties affected may form a joint county authority and establish and maintain a lake improvement district jointly or cooperatively as provided in section471.59. The district may be initiated by the joint county authority in the same manner as by a county board under section103B.515by petition to the affected county boards.
