Text
Subdivision 1.Appointing members.
Watershed management organizations shall notify the Board of Water and Soil Resources of member appointments and vacancies in member positions within 30 days. Appointing authorities shall fill vacant positions by 90 days after the vacancy occurs.
Subd. 2.Notice of board vacancies.
Appointing authorities for watershed management organization board members shall publish a notice of vacancies resulting from expiration of members' terms and other reasons. The notices must be published at least once in a newspaper of general circulation in the watershed management organization area.
