FRENCH CANADIAN SOCIETY (EXCERPT) Act 159 of 1893 457.76 Subordinate branches; chartering, powers, revocation. Sec.

6.Such corporation when duly formed shall have power to affiliate and charter subordinate branches of said order which subordinate branches shall have power to make and adopt their own constitution and by-laws not repugnant to the constitution and by-laws adopted by the union or hereafter amended and adopted by the union, and in case of noncompliance with the general laws, by-laws, ordinances and regulations of the union, to revoke and annul the charter granted to such subordinate branch.
