KNIGHTS OF LABOR OF NORTH AMERICA (EXCERPT) Act 159 of 1883 457.151 Local assembly; incorporation procedure. Sec.
1.That any local assembly of the order of the Knights of Labor of North America, duly organized within this state under and pursuant to the provisions of the constitution and laws of the general assembly of the Knights of Labor of North America, may become a body corporate and politic in the manner following, viz: First, At a regular meeting of such local assembly a resolution shall be put to a vote of the members thereof present, expressing the desire and determination of such local assembly to be incorporated, and directing the officers thereof to perfect such incorporation, and if such resolution be adopted by a 2/3 vote of all members in good standing it shall be declared
