MECHANICS' ASSOCIATIONS (EXCERPT) Act 188 of 1857 454.6 Mechanics' associations; property, limitations. Sec.

6.No association shall hold any real estate hereafter acquired, for a longer period than 10 years, except such real estate as shall be actually occupied by it in the exercise of its franchises.
