AGRICULTURAL FAIR ASSOCIATIONS (EXCERPT) Act 188 of 1921 453.343 Report; effect of failure or refusal to file; false statement as perjury. Sec.

3.If the secretary of an association fails or refuses to make or file the report, he shall be liable to a penalty of $100.00 for each neglect or refusal, to be recovered by the prosecuting attorney of the county in which the association holds its fairs, in the name of the state. In addition to the penalty, the association shall not thereafter receive public moneys for its support and it shall be unlawful for a public officer to pay to an association so offending any public moneys, during the continuance of the failure to comply with this act. A person making a false statement in a report required by this act is guilty of perjury.
