COUNTY AGRICULTURAL SOCIETIES (EXCERPT) Act 96 of 1849 453.103 County agricultural societies; tax money, expenditure. Sec.

3.The said board of supervisors shall draw upon the said treasurer for the sum so raised and the same shall be expended, under the direction of said board, for the benefit of said society in the purchase of premiums, the diffusion of valuable agricultural, manufacturing and mechanical knowledge, or in such other way as shall in the opinion of the board be calculated to promote and encourage the important objects above specified.
