COPPER AND IRON MINE INSPECTORS (EXCERPT) Act 163 of 1911 425.108a Inspection; certificate of safety; unlawful entry of mine, penalty. Sec. 8a. It shall be the duty of the mine inspector to inspect any mine before the mine is re-opened and to issue a certificate of safety before any employee or person is permitted to enter the mine. The owner of any mine, who shall direct or permit any person to enter a mine in violation of the provisions of this section, shall be punished by a fine of not less than $100.00 nor more than $500.00 for each and every offense.
