CITY, VILLAGE, AND TOWNSHIP LIBRARIES (EXCERPT) Act 164 of 1877 397.217 Joint municipal libraries; villages and cities. Sec.
17.The people of villages may join with townships, or townships with villages, or either with cities, by complying with similar provisions, as aforesaid in this act, and as amended, for the purpose of maintaining, supporting and receiving the benefits from a free public circulating library.
