CITY, VILLAGE, AND TOWNSHIP LIBRARIES (EXCERPT) Act 164 of 1877 397.204 Governing board; vacancy; compensation. Sec.
4.A vacancy in the governing board of a library occasioned by removal, resignation, or otherwise, shall be reported to the city council and filled in the same manner as the original appointment, and no member shall receive compensation as such.
