INVESTIGATING AUTHORITY OF DEPARTMENT OF LICENSING AND REGULATION (EXCERPT) Act 99 of 1972 338.22 Investigation and determination of complaints. Sec. 2.

(1)The director shall investigate all complaints of alleged violations against or by persons licensed by any board or agency of the department, if the board or agency fails to initiate an investigation within 60 days after the filing of a complaint.
(2)The director shall forward complaints investigated under this section to the board or agency of the department concerned and shall inform the board or agency concerned of all investigations conducted by the director under this section.
(3)Final determination of all complaints shall be forwarded to the director by each board or agency accompanied by a roll call vote of the board or agency.
