PRIVATE SECURITY BUSINESS AND SECURITY ALARM ACT (EXCERPT) Act 330 of 1968 338.1091 Participation in state, county, or municipal retirement system prohibited; uniforms, vehicles, and badges distinct from local law enforcement agency. Sec.

41.Members of the private college security force at a private college or university are not eligible to participate in any state, county, or municipal retirement system and shall not be reimbursed for training with state funds. The uniforms, vehicles, and badges of private college security officers shall be distinctive from those of the local law enforcement agency where the private college or university is located.
