PRIVATE SECURITY BUSINESS AND SECURITY ALARM ACT (EXCERPT) Act 330 of 1968 338.1089 Power to make arrests; limitation. Sec. 39.

(1)Unless sworn and fully empowered as provided in section 37a, upon being appointed under section 37 by a private college or university licensed under this act, private college security officers have the power to make arrests as provided in section 30.
(2)Unless sworn and fully empowered as provided in section 37a, upon being appointed under section 37 by a private college or university licensed under this act, private college security officers may exercise the powers conferred in this act only on property owned or leased by the private college or university, wherever situated.
