AGRICULTURAL COMMODITIES MARKETING ACT (EXCERPT) Act 232 of 1965 290.670 Suspension of statute where marketing program approved; exception. Sec. 20.
(a)If a marketing program is approved for a commodity for which there is a state commission or council operating pursuant to a statute, such statute is suspended during the period of operation of the marketing program under this act, except that the appointed members of an existing commission or council shall be members of the commodity committee for the duration of the terms for which they were appointed, and no fees or assessments shall be collected under such act while it is suspended.
