LINSEED OR FLAXSEED OIL (EXCERPT) Act 110 of 1909 290.256 Penalty for violation of act. Sec.

6.Any person, firm, or corporation convicted of violating any of the provisions of this act shall, for the first offense be punished by a fine in any sum not less than 25 dollars and not more than 100 dollars or by imprisonment not exceeding 30 days, or by both such fine and imprisonment in the discretion of the court; and for the second and each subsequent offense by a fine of not less than 50 dollars and not more than 200 dollars or by imprisonment not exceeding 1 year, or both in the discretion of the court.
