LINSEED OR FLAXSEED OIL (EXCERPT) Act 110 of 1909 290.253 Linseed or flaxseed oil; compounds, branding; misbranded, definition. Sec.
3.Linseed oil compounds or flaxseed oil compounds designed to take the place of raw or boiled linseed oil or raw or boiled flaxseed oil as defined in section 1 of this act, whether sold, offered or exposed for sale under invented proprietary names or titles or not, shall bear conspicuously upon the containing vessel, in capital letters not less than 5 lines pica in size, the word "Compound," followed immediately with the true distinctive names of the actual ingredients in the order of their greater preponderance, in the English language, in plain legible type of the same size, not less than 2 lines pica in size, in continuous list with no intervening matter
