GRAIN DEALERS ACT (EXCERPT) Act 141 of 1939 285.77 Notice of intent to discontinue business. Sec. 17.

(1)If a grain dealer intends to discontinue his or her farm produce handling business at or before the expiration of his or her license, at least 30 days before the date the grain dealer intends to discontinue the business, the grain dealer shall by registered or certified mail provide notice of intent to discontinue business to the director, each person storing farm produce in a facility of the grain dealer, and each known holder of a warehouse receipt, acknowledgment form, or open storage or price later agreement issued by the grain dealer.
