DRIVER EDUCATION PROVIDER AND INSTRUCTOR ACT (EXCERPT) Act 384 of 2006 256.703 Driver education provider and instructor fund; creation; expenditures; investment; accounting; administration of act. Sec. 83.

(1)The driver education provider and instructor fund is created as a separate fund in the department of treasury. The fund shall be expended only as provided in this section. The state treasurer may receive money or other assets from any source for deposit into the fund. The state treasurer shall direct the investment of the fund. The state treasurer shall annually present to the secretary of state an accounting of the amount of money in the fund. Any unexpended and unencumbered money in the fund at the close of a fiscal year shall remain in the fund and shall not lapse or be transferre
