DRIVER EDUCATION PROVIDER AND INSTRUCTOR ACT (EXCERPT) Act 384 of 2006 256.699 Certificate required; violation as misdemeanor; penalty; administrative fine. Sec.

79.A person shall not engage in or offer to engage in activity as a driver education provider or a driver education instructor unless the person holds a valid certificate under this act. A person who violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor punishable by imprisonment for not more than 93 days or a fine of not more than $2,000.00, or both. In addition to any other remedies provided by law, the secretary of state may impose an administrative fine of $100.00 for each day the person is found to have engaged in activity as a driver education provider or a driver education instructor without being certified under this act.
