MACKINAC BRIDGE AUTHORITY (EXCERPT) Act 214 of 1952 254.318 Mackinac bridge authority; grants or donations. Sec.

8.The authority may accept from the United States of America and any department, agency or instrumentality thereof, and from the state of Michigan and any department, agency or instrumentality thereof, grants for or in aid of the construction of the bridge and may enter into any lawful contracts or agreements necessary to obtain such grants. Such grants may consist of money, real or personal property or other things of value. The authority may also accept grants or donations from municipal corporations, counties or other political subdivisions of the state of Michigan and from any other source.
