STATE BRIDGE COMMISSION; PUBLIC WORKS (EXCERPT) Act 147 of 1935 254.162 Powers of commission. Sec.

12.Powers. The commission shall have power to make and enter into all contracts or agreements necessary or incidental to the execution of its powers under this act, and may employ engineering, architectural and construction experts and inspectors and attorneys, and such other employes as may be deemed necessary, and may fix their compensation. All such compensation and all expenses incurred in carrying out the provisions of this act shall be paid solely from funds provided under the authority of this act, and no liability or obligation shall be incurred hereunder beyond the extent to which money shall have been provided under the authority of this act.
