Text
The authority to promulgate regulations for the enforcement of this subchapter is vested in the State Sealer of Weights and Measures. Regulations shall be adopted in a manner consistent with the Maine Administrative Procedure Act. The regulation or regulations so promulgated shall become effective on a date fixed by the sealer which date shall not be prior to 30 days after filing with the Secretary of State. Such promulgation may be amended or repealed in the same manner as is provided for its adoption, except in the case of emergency rulemaking rules shall become effective as provided in the Maine Administrative Procedure Act.
