§ 7 §4151 — Definitions

As used in this chapter, unless the context otherwise indicates, the following terms have the following meanings.

1.Animal. "Animal" means a dog, wholly of the species canis familiaris, or a cat, wholly or in part of the species felis domesticus. 1-A. Animal rescue entity. "Animal rescue entity" means a nonprofit organization having tax-exempt status under the United States Internal Revenue Code, Section 501(c)(3) whose mission and practice is, in whole or in significant part, the rescue and placement into permanent homes of animals and that does not breed animals.
2.Breeder. "Breeder" means a person, firm, partnership, corporation or association that breeds animals for direct or indirect sale to the public.
3.Health problem. "Health problem" means any disease, illness or any congenital
