Text
1.Commission.
The State Liquor and Lottery Commission, established in Title 5, section 12004‑G, subsection 14, consists of 5 members who must be residents of this State. Members are appointed by the Governor and are subject to review by the joint standing committee of the Legislature having jurisdiction over legal and veterans affairs and to confirmation by the Legislature. No more than 3 members of the commission may be members of the same political party.
2.Chair.
The commission shall elect a chair from among its members.
3.Eligibility of members.
A person is not eligible for appointment as a member of the commission or as an employee of the commission if that person:
