§ 5 §17926 — Examinations or tests

Any examinations or tests conducted under section 17106‑B or required by the chief executive officer under section 17921, subsection 1, paragraph D; section 17924; section 17929, subsection 2, paragraph B; or section 17933, subsection 3, paragraph A are governed as follows.
1.Agreed upon health care provider.
The examinations or tests must be conducted by a health care provider mutually agreed upon by the chief executive officer and the member claiming to be disabled.
2.Agreed upon place.
The examinations or tests must be conducted at the health care provider's office or facility or at a place mutually agreed upon by the chief executive officer and the member claiming to be disabled.
3.Costs.
The costs incurred under subsections 1 and 2 must be paid by the retirement system.
