Text

Notwithstanding sections 17708 and 17708‑A, on and after July 1, 1993 a state police officer shall contribute to the State Employee and Teacher Retirement Program or have pick-up contributions made at a rate of 1.15% of earnable compensation in addition to the contributions required under section 17708.
