§ 38 §570-F — Special provisions
This subchapter may not be construed to authorize the department to require registration of or to regulate the installation or operation of underground tanks used:
1.Propane storage.
For the storage of propane; or
2.Other structure.
As an oil-water separator, catch basin, flood drain or other emergency containment structure as long as the structure:
The department shall adopt rules for underground oil storage facilities for storing waste oil. The department shall also adopt rules governing field-constructed, airport hydrant and heavy oil underground oil storage facilities. These rules are not limited by other provisions of this subchapter.
