§ 38 §440-A — Public access

Maine·Title 38 WATERS AND NAVIGATION·Ch. 3 PROTECTION AND IMPROVEMENT OF WATERS
In addition to controls required in this chapter, municipalities may extend or adopt zoning and subdivision controls to protect any public rights for physical and visual access to the shoreline. Zoning ordinances adopted or extended pursuant to this section shall be pursuant to and consistent with a comprehensive plan.
