Text
A person may not practice veterinary medicine in this State who is not a licensed veterinarian or the holder of a permit for the performance of relief veterinary service issued by the board. This section does not apply to:
1.Federal, state or local government employee.
An employee of the federal, state or local government performing his official duties.
2.Regular student.
A person who is a regular student in a veterinary school performing duties or actions assigned by his instructors or working under the direct supervision of a licensed veterinarian during a school vacation period.
3.Person performing accepted livestock practices.
4.Out-of-state veterinarian consulting with licensed veterinarian.
