Text
In addition to the grounds enumerated in Title 10, section 8003, subsection 5‑A, paragraph A, the board may deny a license, refuse to renew a license or impose the disciplinary sanctions authorized by Title 10, section 8003, subsection 5‑A for any of the following reasons:
1.Fraud.
2.Addiction.
Addiction, as confirmed by medical findings, to the use of alcohol or other drugs, that has resulted in the licensed physical therapist or physical therapist assistant being unable to perform the licensed physical therapist's or physical therapist assistant's duties or perform those duties in a manner that would not endanger the health or safety of the patients to be served; or
3.Incompetency.
A medical finding of mental incompetency.
4.Accomplice.
5.Misconduct.
6.Criminal conviction.
