Text
Except as otherwise specified by this chapter, an applicant for licensure as an osteopathic physician in this State must satisfy the following requirements.
1.Osteopathic education.
An applicant must graduate from an osteopathic medical school designated as accredited by the American Osteopathic Association's Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation.
2.Postgraduate training.
An applicant who has graduated from an accredited osteopathic medical school prior to January 1, 2026 must have satisfactorily completed at least 12 months in a medical graduate educational program accredited by the Accreditation Council on Graduate Medical Education or the American Osteopathic Association. An applicant who has graduated from an accredited osteopathic medical school on or after January 1, 2026
