Text
1.Effective date.
The compact takes effect on the date on which the compact statute is enacted into law in the 7th participating state.
2.Subsequent participating states.
A state that joins the compact subsequent to the commission's initial adoption of rules is subject to the rules as they exist on the date on which the compact becomes law in that state. A rule that has been previously adopted by the commission has the full force and effect of law on the date the compact becomes law in that state.
3.Withdrawal.
A participating state may withdraw from this compact by enacting a statute repealing the compact.
4.Other agreements or arrangements.
Nothing contained in this compact may be construed to invalidate or prevent any physician assistant licensure agreement or other cooperative arra
